Under the Select button in the Map Selections pane of the Lists/Selections tab, select the type of items for which to create a list (Pipelines, Fields, Wells, etc.) and then drag the map to select the items to include in the list or click individual items.
Attach lists to the map and change their colors, descriptions, and other attributes. Lists can act as custom map layers that you display, query, inspect, and more.
To view extensions of various lists, click List File Extensions.
The corresponding icon that denotes the layer you selected (

,
, etc.) appears in the toolbar above the Select drop-down list. This button is highlighted when Point and Click mode is enabled.
The map layer from which you want to create your list must be displayed on the map.

), navigate to the unselected items using the buttons in the Pan & Zoom tab.Each selected item on the map is highlighted and the Count label that appears in the List tab to the right of the Create List button displays the number of items currently in the list.
To clear an item that is highlighted to include in the list, click the item a second time. To clear all of the selected items, click Clear Selections (
) in the main toolbar.
) - launch a DataCard with all of the selected items in the Data Navigation pane in the My Items tab. The results are sent to an existing DataCard if open is open; otherwise, they appear in a new DataCard. The item that was selected first is displayed in the DataCard details pane.
) - launch the Enter Description dialog box where you type a name for the list and then click OK to display the Save As dialog box where you specify a location and file name of the list, and then click Save. If you also wish to attach the map upon saving it to disk, using the drop-down list that appears immediately below the Save button, select Attach on Save.
